Pramod is a contemporary visual artist based in Greater Noida, India. He completed his Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2016 and Master of Fine Arts in Painting in 2018 from the College of Art, University of Delhi. His practice is primarily grounded in drawing and process-based methodologies, where repetition, accumulation, and material intervention function as key strategies to examine time, memory, and lived socio-political realities.
His work often approaches the surface as a site of negotiation—where gestures are layered, erased, and reworked to create dense and tactile visual fields. Through graphite and mixed drawing processes, he investigates how marks carry traces of action and how sustained engagement transforms both material and meaning.
He has participated in several national group exhibitions, including The Complexity of Democracy (2025), curated by Anita Dube at Art Heritage, New Delhi; Telling a Story – Beyond Painting as Contemporary Art at Lexicon Art Gallery (2022); as well as exhibitions at Dhoomimal Gallery, Birla Academy of Art & Culture, Bharat Bhavan, and Studio Khirki.
His work has received recognition through awards such as the Award for Drawing at the Ravi Jain Memorial Annual Exhibition (2022), the AIFACS Drawing Award (2017), and the Sahitya Kala Parishad Award (2015). In 2020, he participated in the Mental Health Online Art Residency organized by the Art for Change Foundation.
